So, you’re thinking about booking Muse: an experiment in storytelling and life drawing

Good call! The spirit of collective exploration in Muse, and the gentle encouragement to fully immerse and participate, makes it a great match for any festival that really wants to work with different forms of performer/audience interaction.

In the summer of 2023, Cameryn took Muse on an eight-city, 46-show tour of Canada and the UK, winning rave reviews, audience enthusiasm, and a Best of Fest winners’ circle award at the Vancouver International Fringe Festival. The excitement that these theatre audiences expressed after each show made it clear that this was an unexpectedly profound experience for many participants.

What audiences say

“My wife said afterward, it’s the most at peace she’s been in a long time” (Cardiff)

I tore up all of my drawings when I was four because they weren’t ‘good enough… This was so wonderful to come back to after all that time.” (Calgary)

When we left, everyone was smiling at each other, like the audience had become a community.” (Ottawa)

Muse is a solo show with few set pieces, making it easy to program in non-traditional spaces. The show is available for touring now, with European bookings already in place through January 2025. Now is the time to inquire!
